White Center ADU: From Bare Lot to Finished Home

The film starts on the bare lot: excavation, a laser level setting the grades, footing forms and rebar in the trench, and the foundation pumped into the forms.
Under the slab go the plumbing lines in the gravel base and rigid foam insulation. Then the walls are framed on the slab and raised, the windows arrive, the roof and sheathing close the shell, and the electrical and plumbing rough-in is ready for inspection.
Fiber cement panels with black trim finish the outside. Inside: a full kitchen and a walk-in shower. The home was completed in 2026.
This 56-second film combines MNBE construction footage and project photographs with instrumental music and no spoken narration. The opening presents the White Center ADU from bare lot to finished home. Excavation and laser layout are followed by footing forms, rebar and concrete placement. Plumbing and rigid foam insulation are shown beneath the slab. The walls are framed and raised, followed by windows, roof sheathing, utility rough-in and fiber cement siding. The final scenes show the completed kitchen, walk-in shower and the front of the two-bedroom ADU.
